YOU ARE AT TOORO BABIES HOME; FEEL AT HOME

KASIISI PERMANENT HOME

TCCC has learnt over time that child adoption in Uganda is not a common practice while the developed world finds it easy to take on kids since they produce fewer children compared to us here in Africa.

The Ugandan law is that these homes should keep children up to the age of 3 years. What we are seeing is that we have at the home children who are above 5 years and going to school with time these kids will outgrow this institution and stigma will set in since they are not babies.
The permanent home concept will carter for these grown children.

The board together with TCCC have lobbied for more than 5 acres of land from the Anglican church which is now under farm development and later when fundraising is complete part of the land will be covered by buildings.
